Day 6 – Buttercream Blues
This is today’s painting for #the100dayproject and might be my favorite painting so far. I’m really into textures right now and love those thick luscious layers of paint. It took me quite some time to get this little square to look the way I wanted. And believe it or not, there was some magenta in there when I started off! But the magenta just didn’t do it for me and got overtaken by those lovely blues. There’s just a few tiny smidges of magenta that reveal this painting’s turbulent past ? But let’s be honest, those blues rule, right? ???
